With Asia spanning over distinctively different climate zones, summer months look and feel differently in different areas throughout the region. It is the best time to visit the northern continental territories of the region, mainly the southern Siberian region (as the northern part of Siberia is infested with flies and mosquitoes in the summer months), Mongolia, and the highlands of northern and north-western parts of China. The coastal areas including Taiwan, Korea and Japan are prone to typhoons, and the tropical and sub-tropical areas of South-East Asia, Nepal and Bhutan are likely to see monsoon rains, and are best be avoided during this time of the year.
